The White Dolphin Swimming Club is a private, non-for-profit organization in the city of Toronto. Our club provides beginners' and competitive swimming lessons to children and adults in North York, Scarborough, and surrounding areas. Swimming is very good for one's health; and consistent, relaxed exposure to water is important in making swimming an enjoyable and beneficial part of your child's life.
Our club's coach group consists of Olympic athletes, National Master Athletes and National First Level Athletes. All of them are trained regularly, ensuring a depth of experience and level of qualification second to none. And we specialize in stroke correction for swimmers that need to improve on their time and technique.
All swimmers can enter our programs and find an appropriate class at any time of the year. All lessons are taught using an advanced progression technique, with skills being broken down into simple procedures.
Our goal is to instill a lifelong relationship with the water by providing high quality, developmentally sound swimming instruction in a fun, safe environment while emphasizing outstanding customer service.
We will instill a life-long connection with the water by promoting a love of the water, building confidence in aquatic skills, and establishing a secure foundation for water safety and personal fitness.
We will maintain our high quality of swimming instruction by keeping our staffs methods up to date with current child development trends, by providing ongoing, comprehensive training for our staff, and constantly reviewing our program and teaching methods for maximum effectiveness.
We will provide outstanding customer service by keeping our customers informed, listening to and understanding their needs and concerns, valuing our relationship with them, and making them feel welcome.
All the swimming pools are controlled by City of Toronto and Toronto District School Board.
Thousands and thousands of dollars have been invested in the most advanced and innovative salt water pool chemistry in this industry. Now, we have the best quality water as well as the best quality instruction.
Around the world, people swim in mild salt water for health benefits, especially people who have sensitive skin or suffer from skin conditions. Swimming in mild salt water has proven to be advantageous for asthmatics and allergy prone swimmers.
